alphabroder x S&S Activewear
alphabroder and S&S Activewear are combining to create the premier partner for the apparel industry through greater investment in product and brand offerings, technology, employees and supply chain innovation.
Customers who integrate with alphabroder via EDI/API will need to transition to the S&S EDI/API by early Q2 2025 for Canada and early Q3 2025 for the US. Click here to see detailed information about the transition.
PromoStandards
- The S&S version of the AB PromoStandards endpoint will be available 3/15/25. On 7/1/25, all PromoStandards traffic will be redirected to this new endpoint.
- This is intended to be a short-term bridge until you convert to the S&S REST API or PromoStandards endpoints. You will be required to switch to an S&S API Key and endpoint URL within 3 months of the 7/1/25 cutover.
- S&S' existing PromoStandards is being enhanced to support additional data elements currently supported by alphabroder.
alphabroder API
- S&S will support alphabroder API starting on 3/15/25. On 7/1/25, all alphabroder API traffic will be redirected to this new endpoint. This is intended to be a short-term bridge until you convert to the S&S REST API or PromoStandards endpoints. You will be required to switch to an S&S API Key and endpoint URL within 3 months of 7/1/25 cutover.
Prime Line hard goods will continue to support PromoStandards for Product and Inventory. Future support for Purchase Orders is planned for 2025. Hard goods customers using alphabroder endpoints will need to migrate in early Q2 2025.

Types of Integration
FTP/API - Product data, availability, purchase order, order status, shipment notification and invoice details exchanged through flat files and/or alphabroder web services that provide real time statuses. FTP options include using your server or our server with a secure login.
Promo Standards - Industry leading open standards that enable participants to improve customer experience, reduce transactional friction and effectively execute digital strategies through standardized web services.
X12 EDI - US standards-based EDI - documents supported include 850 (purchase order), 855 (purchase order acknowledgement), 856 (advanced shipment notice), 810 (invoice) and 997 (functional acknowledgement).

Looking for Product Information?
We have several different files available that contain product details. These files are available for download from our website: Product Data.
The three most widely used files:
AllDBInfo:Prod (product) – Item level details – including catalog page number, color & size group codes, hex code, case quantities, product weight, image names, and more.
PRC (price) – contains regular pricing at the item level.
Both files can be linked by alphabroder item number or GTIN.
Items:This file contains regular price information, product weight, case pack information, item and style description, PMS codes, launch date and more. The domain and image references are also available so that image urls can be constructed.
Styles:This file contains style level information, including description and features presented on our website. It includes the mill name, item count (how many colors and sizes), and category, as well as domain and image names to provide data needed to build image urls.
All files can be linked by the alphabroder item number.
